Guide To American Home School Requirements
Parents are born teachers, as they bring their child in this world and coach them to speak, walk and do everything else in life; therefore, it is not surprising that many parents choose home schooling to the traditional ways especially if their child is suffering from a medical or physical condition that may cause him or her to follow the learning process slower then other children.
Some parents also feel that their children are in a safer and healthier environment at home, as they can look over them and more importantly they can control what and when to teach their child, as they feel appropriate. Even though the American home school association agrees that some children have a better chance of studying with their parents they imply certain rules and regulations to ensure that the child is being taught the right subjects in the right fashion in order to bring him or her up to the standard to the teaching in traditional schools and thus, enable the child to follow further studies.
Basic American Home Schools Requirements
American home school requirements will differ vastly from state to state however, in general they all require the parents to inform the county superintendent of the fact that they will be practicing home schooling with and for their child and therefore he or she will not be attending the traditional school. Some states require the parents to present a written application stating the reasons why they want to adopt home schooling and some state even require that such a request be approved before you start home schooling with your child.
